The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats have confirmed that club legend Sam Bullas will once again line up in our roster for the 24/25 season.
The Wildcats say they simply wouldn't be the same without Bully in the lineup and are thrilled to have him back again for another year.
Since moving to Wiltshire in 2009, Bully has iced in over 750 games for the club and, hopefully, will achieve 800 this coming season.
Hailed a natural leader on, and off the ice, he is one of the faces of the organisation and his full commitment and attitude to the game is infectious throughout the locker-room.
Last year was a successful year for him individually, with eight goals in the season as well as another four in the playoffs. The tally included two goals at Coventry in the semi-final against Leeds Knights.
Head Coach Aaron Nell said: "There are no words to describe what Bully brings to our club. Ever since he’s arrived in Swindon he’s taken what I means to be a Wildcat to a new level.
"I’m delighted he’s back for another year and I know he’s going to continue to be vital to any successes we have over the season.
"He’s a big game player as proved in Coventry and everyone from fans to players loves him.
Similarly, Sam himself said: "Coming back to Swindon was another no-brainer for me. I never want to play anywhere else. We had an unbelievable core last year and with everything we went through it’s exciting to see Aaron putting together a similar looking team.
"We want to build on what we did last year, getting to Coventry and the cup semi-finals were a success for the group but we need to take the next step to silverware and I’m excited to be a part of that."
