In the first warm weather of spring, Swindon Golf Croquet Level Play 5+ team visited Bristol and came away worthy winners 14 - 6.

Given the strength of the Bristol team this was expected to be a very tough game. Swindon started strongly and romped to a 8 - 0 lead after three rounds (two doubles and a singles) with the 12 afternoon singles ending up all square.
Stand in captain Tony Mayer said “The Swindon team played exceptionally well which surprised our opponents who, on paper, expected to win. It was a superb team effort.
