Landmark Old Town Beer Festival set to begin

The 10th Old Town Beer festival begins later today - Thursday, 11 May - and runs until Sunday, 14 May.

As ever, the venue is Christ Church, and visitors can expect a broad range of ales and ciders, together with music and comedy.
The ales will include four specially brewed for Christ Church - Ten Bells Bitter, Holy GR-ALE, Hop-ostles, Beacon and Vicar’s Tipple.
Planned attractions include:
Thursday, 11 May, 7pm: Comedy night with Nick Page and support acts. Tickets £10 including 10th anniversary glass, first drink and festival guide.
Friday, 12 May, 6-11pm: Beer and cider festival. Tickets £15 including 10th anniversary glass, initial drinks and festival guide.
Saturday, 13 May, noon-10pm: Beer and cider festival. Tickets £15 including 10th anniversary glass, initial drinks and festival guide.
Saturday, 13 May, 5-10pm: Live music from local bands. Tickets £5 including 10th anniversary glass and festival guide.
Sunday, 14 May, 6-9pm: Renewal Gospel Choir. Tickets £10 including all drinks and snacks.
Refreshments will be available to purchase on the Friday and Saturday.
