Six Youngsters We Look Forward to In the FIFA World Cup

This year is bringing us the most significant events in soccer. We’ll see 32 teams for the right to be called world champions. After a rigorous qualifying campaign, the teams are ready to participate in the best soccer experience.

The FIFA World Cup standings are set, with the kickoff coming on the 20th of November. 

The 32 teams have talented players ready to showcase their skills on the biggest stage, and we expect some of them to be the youngsters that have been blazing through the game since the turn of the year. These youngsters have held their own under massive pressure as they keep learning. 

For these players, this would be their first experience at the FIFA World Cup, and as a result, they would want to impress. We would expect them to bring their A-game throughout the competition. They would want to win the competition and bring glory to their nation. Therefore, we are focusing on them. 

We want to check out some of the youngsters we expect to shine through the season. It will be hard for the players. However, these six youngsters are up to the task and would give us a good show throughout the competition. So, let’s get into it.   


Phil Foden

One of the most prominent youngsters in the world today is Phil Foden. The Manchester City forward is an exciting youngster that has flourished under Pep Guardiola and has contributed to some of the team's best moments, winning multiple English Premier League titles. Foden remains an integral part of Pep’s team. 

The player remains an exciting star in the squad and is a top candidate for the Manchester City hall of fame. He would continue to contribute to the team’s successes. And as a result, we expect him to help the Three Lions to the World Cup title.  


Jamal Musiala

Since switching nationality to Germany and moving from Chelsea to Bayern, Jamal Musiala has become a sensational player. He is one of the most exciting youngsters in Europe. As a result, he would be part of the German National team as they try to add another World Cup title to their collection this winter. 

Musiala is a versatile player with the experience to play for a big team with massive expectations. Therefore, he would be one of the best youngsters at the World Cup and try to help the team win the title. He is one of the top contenders for the best young player award.  


Jude Bellingham

For many months now, Jude Bellingham has become one of the most sorts after youngsters in Europe. The Dortmund star has been chased by some of the best teams on the continent, and they are prepared to pay plenty of money. Bellingham has undoubtedly proven that he has a high ceiling. 

He is a talented player that is yet to hit his peak. Bellingham has shown how great he can get with Dortmund and England. Therefore, we consider him to be one of the contenders for the best player award. 


Tariq Lamptey

Another player to switch nationality from England and move from Chelsea is Tariq Lamptey. He was searching for more involvement, so he moved to Brighton and Hove Albion in the English Premier League. Also, he changed his nationality to play for Ghana, and thanks to the new FIFA rule, he can do that easily. 

Fortunately, Ghana is one of the five African teams to make it into the World Cup. Therefore, we would see Lamptey’s incredible talent at the World Cup as he is a bright player with an insane pace. Therefore, he would do well in the competition. 


Joao Felix

The Portuguese international has been a sensational player, and his big-money move to Athletico Madrid put him in the spotlight. The former Benfica player has insane talent with skillful feet that make him slick while playing the ball. 

Although he hasn’t been able to reach the expectations so far, we believe his abilities are top-notch, and he would help Portugal in the World Cup. 


Christian Pulisic

The US Men’s team skipper, Christian Pulisic, is one of the most talented players in the world. After bursting into the limelight with Borussia Dortmund, Pulisic went on to Chelsea and has become European and World champions. 

Also, he has led the USA team to another World Cup tournament. Therefore, we look forward to a fantastic campaign from Pulisic with the USMNT.
