Swindon Wildcats are pleased to be supporting the Better Link Centre in opening the doors of the centre to the public for the first time in 2021.

The Better Link Centre will re-open to the public today, Monday 12th April, in line with the latest Government restrictions. Despite the recent news that the Wildcats season has concluded until September, there is plenty of hockey to take place over the coming weeks.

Firstly, Junior Learn To Play will resume from 16th April. Slots will be available to book on the Swindon Wildcats website and you will have to book to be able to take part. This would be a great activity for the kids to get involved in, however, for the first two weeks, Wildcats will be limited to 50 skaters taking part. Spectators will be allowed rinkside but only one spectator per skater is permitted. Equipment hire will be allowed however this does exclude skates.

Secondly, Junior Clubs will also resume from today. All SWIHA members should have already heard from head coach Lee Mason with further details regarding this. However, there will be NO spectators allowed for this.

As well as all this, the Swindon Wildcats are opening the doors to the Wildcat Sports shop on the ground floor of the Better Link Centre. All Wildcats Merchandise will be available.

After the senior side returning to the ice successfully in the NIHL Spring Cup, the club is delighted to now be putting the smiles back on the face of the future generations with the Learn To Play and Academy players coming back to the Link Centre.
