World renowned professional football freestyler Ben Nuttall visited Noremarsh Junior School to deliver a workshop to its pupils.
Well known on social media, Ben has three Guiness World Records, has performed at many stadiums including Old Trafford, The O2 and Wembley.
He performed for the 2018 Champions League Final in Kiev, and has also worked with other famous sports stars, including Usain Bolt.
Staff said Noremarsh pupils were very excited and eager to learn some freestyle football skills from Ben. He shared his expertise and knowledge with them, making sure all pupils present, had the chance to learn some simple football tricks.
Talking about his workshops Ben said: “I love to inspire the next generation of budding freestylers,” explaining, “but it’s not all about skills, the workshops allow students to improve their coordination, balance, control and also social skills.”
Mr James Underwood, PE Co-ordinator for the school said: “It’s great to be able to offer the children something different, they have really enjoyed today and all of them have learned to do at least one skill no matter what their ability with football, which is great.”
The day finished off a week of sporting activity at Noremarsh - where pupils tried taekwondo, archery, netball, and took part in two sports day events; also challenging each other to a tug of war contest.
