The UK's only permanent venue for independent homebuilding, advice and support is hosting a free event to help maintain and inspire independent home constructors.
On Friday and Saturday, 11 and 12 October, from 9am to 5pm. The National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC) in Swindon will be presenting the event, in which newly emerging home builders and renovaters can find information and innovation ideas and suggestions.
The weekend will also include support from experts and what is billed as an unrivalled line-up of exhibitors ready to answer questions, along with helpful advice.
Located just off the M4 Junction 16, The NCRBC has been creating better, sustainable homes throughout the UK as well as extending and improving existing property since 2007.
The centre offers information and guidance throughout its various showcases, conveying the best building methods, innovations and technologies through an expert helpdesk, as well as educational courses, workshops and other showcasing events.
This show is described as a perfect opportunity for people thinking about finding a plot and building a brand new, well refurbished and ideal home,renovating a tired property or even extending a current home.
There will be a huge line-up of experts offering one-to-one advice, 200-plus exhibitors, and 15-plus free daily seminars covering all stages of a project. It will also include guided tours of the NSBRC's life-size educational exhibits, free onsite parking as well as a coffee shop.
The NSBRC is open six days a week for visitors. Its usual opening hours are from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5.30pm and Sunday from 10am to 4.30pm.
