The Swindon Roses rugby team has launched a fundraising appeal to help it secure a new changing room.
The team members are aged between 11 and 15, and a spokesperson said: "The girls' game has taken off at a dramatic rate over recent times. Yet there is a distinct lack of facilities available for girls. Not only at our club, but at many others across the country.
"The biggest gap we are finding is that more often then not, the girls do not have a designated changing room. This means they don't have a space to get ready or even to put their kit bags.
"On many occasions we have been forced to leave kit bags in cars during rainy games.
"We are fund raising to build the girls their own, standalone changing room."
The Swindon Roses are organising fundraising events through the year and also hosting a girls' only tournament to further advertise the amazing growth in the sport.
The spokesperson added: "We will be holding raffle, auction, fun days and other sponsored events."
There are also sponsorship opportunities.
