It will take him into the 2021/22 NIHL National League campaign.

Last year should have been Stevie’s testimonial season, but due to the covid-19 pandemic this could not be celebrated as planned.

Wildcats bosses say the club is thrilled as an organization to confirm that at the end of the coming season Stevie will get the testimonial game he deserves to celebrate his time in Swindon.

Stevie has been a mainstay of the Wildcats' senior roster since the 11-12 season and has played a crucial role in the successes the team have had in the last few seasons, including the 18/19 league championship.

Head Coach and GM Aaron Nell is delighted to have secured the signature of #28 for another year.

He said: “Stevie is the Wildcats, he’s a player who’s come through the local academy and broken into our senior team after time with the development Wildcats.

"Since he made his debut he’s grown into a vital part of the team and the locker-room. The fans love his work ethic and his work rate rubs off on the other players around him.

"Everything changed around the world due to the covid-19 pandemic and I’m delighted at the end of this deal we’ll be able celebrate his time in Swindon properly.

"He really deserves this and after some recent testimonials for Lee Richardson and Sam Bullas I’m excited to support Stevie have the night he deserves as well.”
