Swindon St George Rugby League FC has returned to training ahead of the 2026 campaign.

The announcement comes.  as the Super League season plays to sell-out crowds and attracts new followers to the game.
Doing the hard yards will be the club’s Open Age roster, supplemented by 12 graduates from the Dragons’ Junior section, hungry for their first taste of adult Rugby League.
They will be following in the footsteps of Tyler Lehman, who made the big step up in 2024.
Chairman Richard White said: "It’s been a long four years in the making, but we are finally about to see the benefits of our junior  set-up."
He added: "New recruits are always welcome to come along and try their hand. No experience is necessary as qualified coaches will be on hand for guidance."
Sessions are now scheduled for every Thursday evening at Swindon RFC’s Greenbridge Road ground, between 7pm and 8.30pm.
On the same evenings and at the same venue, Swindon’s Masters RL team have their regular sessions and, again, newcomers will be made welcome to this version of League, with rules tailored to suit every ability, fitness and age group above 35 years.
