For Swindonians already embracing their festive spirit, Will Ferrell’s Christmas comedy classic Elf and all-time classic Home Alone returns to Vue and will be screened throughout December.
Film fans can also look forward to Jim Carrey’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas, screening from 8 December, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York from 15 December and The Polar Express arriving from 22 December to wrap up a schedule of winter watches.
Steve Legg, General Manager at Vue Swindon, said: “We have felt the local anticipation for this site and are delighted to finally open our doors to all film fans in and around Swindon.
“We look forward to delivering the very best in entertainment and inviting families and film buffs alike down to Greenbridge Retail Park to spend a Christmas day out with us.
“From opening day, we will be showing all the latest films and entertainment, however it wouldn’t be a December launch without us bringing back festive favourites including Elf, both Home Alone films and The Polar Express directly onto the big screen as they were intended.”
Tickets are available now, with every film, every day, available for £4.99 when booked online or £5.99 when purchased at the venue. More information and tickets are available at www.myvue.com/cinema/swindon/whats-on
