Swindon's Whitehorse Badminton Club is inviting new members to join both its junior and adult sessions.

Whitehorse Badminton Club meet weekly at both the Lime Kiln Sports Centre in Royal Wootton Bassett and St Joseph's College off Ocotal Way.

The club says it currently has just over 50 members, and is looking for more people to join - especially some more ladies.

Sessions run twice weekly for adults and once weekly for juniors.

Adult sessions take place between 8pm - 10pm on Tuesdays at the Lime Kiln Sports Centre and between 8.15pm - 10.15pm on Thursdays at St Joseph's.

Junior sessions take place every Friday between 6pm - 8pm, at Lime Kiln Sports Centre.

A spokesperson for the club said: "We are a friendly, relaxed, sociable badminton club that offer club nights throughout the year for all abilities.

"We run a variety of men's ladies, mixed and veterans teams and we are looking for new players especially for our ladies and mixed teams.

"Why not come on down and give us a try, whether you are a junior or an adult?"

The club operates a 'pay as you play' system, with no annual membership fees.
