Swindon Wildcats are getting ready for what is billed as a huge South West derby on Friday.
That is when the Wildcats face the Bristol Pitbulls in the first such derby of the season.
A Wildcats spokesperson said: "The rivalry is back, and we need the Link Centre rocking from the opening face-off. With bragging rights on the line, this is a game you won’t want to miss!
"The last time we faced the Pitbulls, it was an absolute thriller with the Cats securing a 6-5 overtime victory with Griffiths scoring the dramatic game-winning goal!
"If Friday is anything like the last meeting, we could be in for another unforgettable night of hockey!"

The weekend saw the Swindon Wildcats back at the Link Centre for their first league game of the 2026/27 season.
The spokesperson said: "While the result didn’t go our way, there were plenty of positives to take from our return to home ice, with some fantastic goals scored on the night.
"Reed Sayers got the Wildcats off the mark with our first league goal of the campaign, before new Canadian signing Sean Richards opened his league account with his debut goal.
"Griffiths also found the back of the net twice to add to the scoresheet.
"Most importantly, the crowd brought the energy from the opening face-off, creating an electric atmosphere inside the Link Centre.
"A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the team, we can’t wait to see you all back on Friday night against the Pitbulls!
"Before the puck dropped, we took a moment to celebrate a special piece of Wildcats history as we unveiled our banner commemorating the 2025/26 title-winning season.
"We were delighted to welcome back members of the championship-winning team, giving them the chance to celebrate the achievement once again with the Wildcats faithful.
"Tyler Plews and Chris Jones had the honour of pulling the rope to reveal the new banner, officially adding the championship to the rafters of the Link Centre. And we have to say... how good do the new banners look?
