The Bespoke Guardian Swindon Wildcats made it four out of four wins with victories over the Telford Tigers.
With Pre-season coming to an end and the NIHL starting next weekend, Wildcats bosses say the squad looks raring and ready to go with two very good performances over last season's league winners.
Saturday night saw the Wildcats secure an emphatic 9-2 win at the Link Centre with new import Colby Tower getting his first goal for the team.
The Cats then carried on this momentum and secured a 4-1 win over the Tigers in Telford on Sunday night.
On Saturday night the Tigers came out very strong at the start of the first period and scored two very quick goals, shocking the home side. But the Wildcats fought back into the game and returning D-man Ollie Stone got them on the board with a shot from the blue line sneaking past Brad Day.
This is where the game changed as the momentum completely switched to the Cats scoring four goals inside two minutes.
Tomasz Malasinski got the equalising goal as he was sent one on one and flicked the puck into the top corner. Just moments later Lloris Taylor snapped the puck straight through Day’s legs to give the Cats the lead. Reed Sayers then got on the scoresheet tapping in the loose puck. Then player-coach Aaron Nell made it five with a lovely first-time shot rippling the net.
However, the first period was not done yet as Malasinski grabbed his second of the period picking up on his own rebound, making it 6-2 to the Cats

It took the Cats just over one minute to extend their lead in the second period with Sayers grabbing his second as he placed it past Day.
The Cats just kept on coming forward, this time Balint Pakozdi flicking the puck past Day to make it eight.

The Tigers came out much better in the final period and defended the very well, but with just over five minutes to go, new import Colby Tower skated past two Telford players and backhand flicked it past Day to get his first of many goals for the Wildcats.

ON Sunday night the Wildcats started the first period off very well, driving towards the Tigers' net, and they got their reward with Jack Goodchild dragging the puck past Day to make it 1-0.
This lead was then doubled with Lloris Taylor paying rent in front of the net and tapping in a rebound.

The Tigers got on the scoresheet just three minutes into the second period with Bayley Harewood forcing the puck past Dean Skinns to give the hosts hope.
However, Colby made sure the Wildcats got their two-goal lead back with a lovely wrist shot past Day into the top corner.
Colby then grabbed another one just over five minutes later with a lovely tip in which caught out Day in net.

The final period was a very professional display from the Cats who defended very well, limiting Telford to few chances.
