The excitement is building as Arkell’s Darts League prepares for its Finals and Presentation Night.

This highly anticipated evening will feature the league’s top players competing in thrilling finals matches, followed by a presentation ceremony, and a special guest appearance by professional darts star “Rapid” Ricky Evans.

The evening kicks off with an action-packed schedule of finals matches, showcasing the best players across various categories.

•Captains Final: Daniel Doole (Slap Shots Bar) vs. Ash McKeever (Tawny Owl A)

•Ladies Final: Tina Rowlands (Swiss Chalet Blues) vs. Jamie Wilson (The Bakers D)

•Pairs C&D Final: Dan Grove & Dale Grove (Moredon C C) vs. Rhys Read & Dan People (Slap Shots Bar)

•Pairs A&B Final: Jack Woods & Lee Evans (Old Bear A) vs. Eddie Sproule & Dan McGill (New Inn M)

•Landlords/Landladies Final: Steve Cleverly (Old Bear, Cricklade) vs. Colin Walker (The Manor)

•Singles C&D Final: Lee Carrol (Kingsdown Inn) vs. Seb Sorrenti (Swiss Chalet A)

•Singles A&B Final: Ashley Mckeever (Tawny Owl A) vs. Lee Evans (Old Bear A)

Adding to the atmosphere, Paul Starr, highly respected darts MC, will be calling all the games, bringing his expertise and charisma to the event. His involvement ensures a lively and engaging experience for players and fans alike, making this a night to remember.

Renowned professional darts player Rapid Ricky Evans will be making a special guest appearance. After the presentation ceremony, Ricky will play 10 games against lucky attendees. Upon entry, every guest will receive a raffle ticket, and 10 random draw winners will have the chance to step up to the oche and face off against Ricky himself, so make sure you have your darts!

This event promises to be an incredible night whether you’re a seasoned darts enthusiast or just looking for a fun night out and the league extend a warm invitation to the public to attend this unforgettable evening celebrating darts and community.

The finals will take place on Tuesday, February 4, at The Moonrakers, Swindon in The Crossways Suite. 

Doors open at 7:30pm and entry is free of charge. Don’t miss your chance to witness the darts action, celebrate the league’s champions, and maybe even take on a professional!
