A Swindon man has been jailed for two years after pleading guilty to a burglary in a village near Salisbury.
Liam Lowery, 20, of no fixed address, appeared at Swindon Crown Court yesterday.
He pleaded guilty to a burglary in West Gomeldon, on 3 June 2019, and was given two years detention in a Young Offender Institution and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £140.
The burglary happened in the afternoon of 3/6/19 and CCTV footage showed a man acting as a "look out" outside the property, while three other men, who all had their faces covered, stole jewellery, a watch and cash.
The CCTV image was put out by the police as a press appeal, and was identified as Lowery.
He was arrested at an address in Swindon in September and officers also found pictures on his phone where he was wearing the same clothing that he wore for the burglary.
The other three suspects have not been identified.
Det Con Mark Welch, from the Community Tasking Team, said: "This court result proves that we see burglary as a priority, and, wherever possible, we will do all we can to bring offenders to justice and present them before the courts.
"The frustration in this case is that we still have three suspects outstanding, and we would continue to urge anyone who has information and can assist with our enquiries to come forward."
