Construction work is now back in full swing at Junction 16, with good progress being made on all areas currently being worked on.

The eastbound exit slip remains reduced to one lane between approximately 9am and 4pm, subject to traffic volumes, while other traffic management is implemented throughout the site as and when required.

There are a couple of key dates planned for the next month or two, as follows:

  • On Monday 6th February, the westbound exit slip will be closed overnight.  This is to install traffic management to allow works to commence in that area.
  • On the weekend of the 25th to 26th February, the eastbound exit slip will be closed.  This will allow the first section of new surfacing to be completed and traffic management rearranged so that works can commence on the other lanes.  During this closure, traffic will be diverted via Junction 15.
