Dramatisation of investigation into Swindon murders to air tonight

The first of the six-part drama - A Confession - will be broadcast on ITV tonight at 9pm.

Film star Martin Freeman is set to play the role of Det Supt Steve Fulcher in a dramatisation of the investigation into serial killer Christopher Halliwell in Swindon.

Christopher Halliwell, 52, was found guilty of the murders of Becky Godden, who went missing aged 20 in 2003 and 22-year-old Sian O’Callaghan, who  was abducted from a nightclub in Swindon in 2011.
