Swindon Scouts are gearing up for their annual fundraising Christmas post service. Scout post has been running in the town for more than 30 years. And last year the organisation delivered more than 90,000 cards.

Stamps, priced at 30 pence, are now on sale from a variety of shops and public buildings across the town - look out for posters advertising the service.

Christmas cards are then posted in green Scout Post boxes, available at the same locations from 23rd November 2019. Cards must be fully addressed with: surname, house number, street name and postcode. All cards must be posted by 4pm on Wednesday 11th December 2019.

Local Scout Groups will then collect, sort and then deliver the cards over the weekend 14th 15th December with all proceeds going to support Scouting.

Scout post delivers to the following areas: Ashbury, Ashton Keynes, Badbury, Bishopstone, Blunsdon, Broad Hinton, Broad Town, Bourton, Bushton, Chiseldon, Clyffe Pypard, Coleshill, Cricklade, Hampton, Hannington, Highworth, Inglesham, Latton, Liddington

Lydiard Millicent, Minety, Purton, Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon, Sevenhampton, Shrivenham, South Marston, Stanton Fitzwarren, The Leigh, Tockenham, Wanborough, Watchfiel, Wroughton
