Fratello’s are proud to have been chosen as Swindon Town FC’s official restaurant partner for the 2011/2012 season with their name appearing on the reverse of town tickets, offering all fans the opportunity to book a table for 6, with one person eating for free.

On Monday 18 July Fratello’s teamed up with Swindon Town to hold a Meet & Greet with new manager Paolo Di Canio.

To celebrate the link-up with the club Fratello's organised a competition to celebrate the new manager’s arrival, fans were invited to suggest the ingredients of a brand new pizza, named Pizza Di Canio.

The restaurant was packed with town fans to meet the man himself in intimate surroundings. Ricky Mazzotta, Fratello’s co-owner commented, "The whole night went really well and it was a good turnout; Paolo was very approachable throughout and in the end he didn’t really want to leave.”

Alex Pearce's suggestion for Pizza Di Canio, comprising anchovies, capers and black olives earned him an invitation to meet the manager and to share the pizza made in his name. Alex said, “I was totally shocked but pleasantly surprised that I had won, it’s certainly a moment I’ll never forget.”

Pizza Di Canio is now available for order in Fratello’s, cooked to perfection in the restaurant''s wood burning oven and served in the true Italian way, left uncut to reserve every flavour.
