Swindon has a diverse and booming nightlife, filled with all sorts of fantastic places to visit, delicious food and drink to sample, and fun things to do. For a while there were even rumours that a casino was coming to Swindon however, it was not to be. Still, that doesn’t mean that you can’t brush up on your betting systems and play in some fun online casinos if you fancy a night in. But, if you’re visiting Swindon any time soon, or perhaps just want to explore your area a bit more, here are some great places in Swindon to visit after sundown:

Tree Nightclub

Last year, Old Town got a new club and it’s been nothing but success after success. Tree is an amazing nightclub that you just can’t miss. Seriously, it’s big and bright and there’s no way you could walk by it without wanting to go inside. Inside you’ll find ambient pink and purple lighting, sleek interior design, great music and a drinks list that’s almost too long to get through in a life time. They have regular events on the weekends and Fridays with live DJs and musicians and a range of VIP packages you can buy to give you and nine of your friends the night of a lifetime. They also host cocktail making classes during the week, so the next time you go out with your friends you can show off some impressive mixing skills. Tree is the most exclusive nightclub in Swindon and anyone who’s anyone will be there, so you should be, too.

SUJU

If you like live music, live comedy and nonstop energy then head down to SUJU. It seems like every night has a theme at this bustling club and the music is always dance-worthy. Electronic and house music are the main favourites here, but you’ll find all sorts of events that will give you what you want. You can also catch some hilarious comedians here that will have you laughing long into the night. SUJU’s all about the performances, so don’t miss some of the great events coming soon.

1801

Club life isn’t for everyone. Sometimes, all you want to do when night rolls in is sit somewhere warm with a couple of friends and have a drink. A great place to do just that in Swindon is the cocktail bar 1801. This cocktail bar has lots of quirk, creative and delicious cocktails for you and your friends to sample. Here they encourage you to sample all sorts of combinations, so you’ll find some good discount deals where you can order a couple of different cocktails at a time. The atmosphere is stylish and a little bit hipster while at the same time being welcoming and friendly. If you find that one night isn’t enough time to taste all the interesting cocktails then you can come back the next day for a cocktail brunch and some very delicious food.

Baila Bar

If you’re into the vintage scene then visit this particular hotspot. By day it’s ‘Baila Coffee and Vinyl’, but after 12pm it becomes ‘Baila Bar’. This joint is the coolest of the cool and oh so laid back. Settle in with some classic Craft Beer or a vintage cocktail and on a Friday watch some live DJs playing everything from Blues to Funk. Half of the week they open until late, so after a night of cocktails you could step out to grab some breakfast and return for a cup of Baila’s incredible coffee.
