Cotswold Water Park
The largest marl lake system found in the UK, the Cotswold Water Park is an important area for natural and wildlife conservation. The park itself is run by a trust which works to improve upon the 40 square mile park for the benefit of both humans and wildlife alike. Offering a number of recreational activities, such as sailing and fishing, the park is also well known as a bird watching sanctuary. In all the area is comprised of 147 numbered lakes.
