The upcoming weekend sees much of the railway at Blunsdon become a distinct shade of camouflage khaki, when the annual Wartime Weekend takes place.

Providing fun for all the family, the popular event showcases an array of wartime themes.

Featuring a large selection of military vehicles, visitors are able to get a flavour of the many forms of wartime transport. There will be re-enactments, walking history and live battles. Visitors should be prepared for lots of loud bangs! Wartime personalities, such as Smart Alec the spiv will add a touch of realism...

With an array of WWII trade stands, all day train rides, and a beer tent, there is much to occupy visitors.
