Were you in the Windrush estate area of Highworth over the weekend? If so you might be able to help Wiltshire Police with their enquiries over a burglary.

Sometime between 12.30pm on Saturday 1 April 2017 and 6pm on Sunday 2 April 2017 unknown offender(s) broke in to a property on the upper part of the estate.

A search of the address was made and a valuable watch (costing more than £1,000) was stolen.

PC Chris Hughes said:  "We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in this area over the weekend.

"This is a quiet estate, so anyone acting suspiciously would stand out - if you remember seeing anything strange please contact me."

Please contact PC Chris Hughes with any information in connection with this matter on 101.

If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact him via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting reference number: 54170029178.
