Four arrests after Manchester Road attack

Police officers investigating disorder in Swindon's Manchester Road are appealing for witnesses.

A police spokesperson said: "Between approximately 10pm and 11.30pm on March 31, a man in his 40s was assaulted at the corner of Manchester Road and Gladstone Street. He sustained facial injuries during the incident.
"Four men aged between 20 and 44 have been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm following the incident – one of these has been released with no further action, while the other three have been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
"We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the disorder, or anyone who was driving in the area who may have dash cam footage which could assist.
