Shoppers in Wiltshire are being given the chance to win a five-minute trolley dash at their local Aldi store, as the supermarket brings its successful Supermarket Sweep fundraiser to England and Wales for the first time.

Ten winners from across England and Wales will be selected to take part in the challenge, racing against the clock to fill their trolley with Aldi products in just five minutes.

Once the dash is complete, Aldi will donate the full value of each winning trolley to Teenage Cancer Trust, helping to support young people with cancer across the UK.

The competition builds on Aldi Scotland's long-running Supermarket Sweep initiative, which has raised more than £60,000 for charity over the past decade.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: "Our customers are always incredibly supportive of the causes we champion, and we're pleased to be bringing this much-loved fundraising initiative to England and Wales for the first time.

"We can't wait to give shoppers the opportunity to put their trolley-dashing skills to the test, while helping to raise vital funds for Teenage Cancer Trust. Every pound raised will help the charity continue providing specialist care and support to young people with cancer when they need it most."

Vikki Calcutt, Co-Director of Engagement at Teenage Cancer Trust, said: "Cancer kills more teenagers and young adults in the UK than any other disease, yet cancer care wasn’t made for young people. Teenage Cancer Trust exists to make sure no young person goes through the trauma of cancer alone - but we can't do it without support. That's why we're so grateful to Aldi for supporting us over the last nine years. Thank you to everyone getting involved and helping to make a difference – and good luck to all the trolley dashers!"

To enter, simply email [email protected] with your details for the chance to win.

The competition opens at 00:01 on Tuesday 7th July 2026 and closes at 23:59 on Tuesday 4th August 2026.

Since partnering with Teenage Cancer Trust in 2017, Aldi customers and colleagues have helped raise more than £11 million for the charity, with the supermarket aiming to raise £15 million by 2027.
