Wiltshire Police are investigating following the discovery of a substantial cannabis farm inside a property in Swindon yesterday (09/07).
Officers attended an address in Kingshill Road, yesterday morning following a report from an electricity company that a cannabis growth of more than 150 plants had been discovered.
No people were located at the address.
The building has since been secured and all electric, gas and structural issues have been assessed and made safe.
A scene remains in place at the property while enquiries and searches are carried out.
A spokesperson said: “We will be looking to secure a closure order for the property to prohibit any unauthorised person from returning to the property for three months while we continue to investigate.”
