Robber threatened to stab men in Swindon park

Swindon Police are investigating a robbery in the town and urging witnesses to get in touch.

At approximately 11pm on 15 July, two men in their 20s were sat on a bench in Spring Gardens to the rear of Halfords on Fleming Way when they were approached by a man.
The man threatened to stab them if they didn’t hand over their belongings, although no weapon was seen.
Fearing violence, the pair handed over their mobile phones, wallet and a watch to the man and he left the scene, running in the direction of Princes Street.
The suspect is described as a male, wearing a black balaclava, large black coat, black trousers and black shoes.
The police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
