Developments for a new primary school near Coate Water are pushing forward following the release of the site's proposed plans.
A new school is set to open this year in South Swindon following the release of development plans for Badbury Park Primary School.
After The Blue Kite Trust received government funding, the free primary school was due to open last September but was unable to secure the relevant planning permission.
The school is now set to welcome its first 60 Reception pupils in September 2019 who are expected to benefit from a purpose-built early years facility, a specialised art facility and state of the art play equipment. The school is said to reach its full complement of students by 2024, and open a nursery in 2020.
