An arts charity is prepping its palettes for a festive fair to showcase and celebrate the town's creatives.
In November Artsite will be hosting its annual Alternative Arty Christmas Fair to kick-start the festive season.
On 30 November the arts charity will be filling its gallery space with stalls selling arts and crafts, artwork, vintage clothes and art books. Live music will be performed by local bands alongside a photobooth and face painting.
The fair will also include a raffle which the trustees are inviting people to donate artwork and materials. All proceeds will be donated to Artsite which currently does not receive any funding.
Artsite manager, Sally Taylor, said: "We always have a Christmas fair as it's a fantastic time of the year to bring together local artists, musicians and the community.
"In January we will be celebrating our twentieth anniversary since we first started. We want to bring together the local community, artists and people who have been supporting the charity over the last two decades.
"20 years ago, the founding members met for the very first meeting, and that's all we thought it would be - meetings about meetings. We've achieved everything we originally dreamt of, - if not more - but of course we're always thinking about the future and what more we can do to bring together Swindon's creatives to really put Swindon on the map as an arty town.
"We'd love people to get in touch if they have any materials they don't use that are in good condition that we can add to the raffle or sell for a small price as a donation to the charity. If anyone has a piece of their artwork they would like to donate for the raffle that would also be very appreciated.
"If you would like to apply for a stall email email@example.com with your name, what you will be selling, a few images of your work or goods and contact number and we will be in touch."
