`Whitbread Flowers are off the ground in Freshbrook'
Work is now well underway on the new Flowers Pub which will open

towards the end of August 1982. The interior will depict an old mill with
a mill wheel and a large open fire place. Facilities will include a children's

room, Skittle Alley, Darts and Pool. Home Cooked food at lunchtime with
a Cold Buffet Bar. In the_evenings hot snacks and salads.
The atmosphere will-be warm and comfortable and very traditional.

In the next issue we will be telling you all about the exciting competition
to name the pub; there's a Barrel of Beer for the Winner.
