;ANNUAL Freshbrook Village fall
' GENERAL
• February 14 2:15
• MEETING *** **
•
Since the last AGM there has been massive change in Freshbrook. House numbers have gone up
from 700 to 1300, we now have a primary school, a village hall, a shop and the beginnings of a
pub. Many community groups are putting on activities for babies, toddlers, 3-5 year olds, young
people, teenagers and other groups. The Freshbrook Village Group has encouraged and supported
all these community activities and has tried to represent the individual residents of the village.
The AGM is a chance for all residents of Freshbrook to get together to hear a report of the past an d
discuss the future. The residents also have to elect a new committee to run the village hall and
take up residents problems - to be a voice for Freshbrook.
This year we have a speaker Mr. Blythe Director, Development & Housing at Thamesdown Council
He will talk about "The Urban Village-How do people fit into it?" It should be an interesting talk.
