Handicapped Persons' Facilities
"The facilities for the handicapped are better at Carrefour than at any government or
local authority building in the region". That is what the Chairman of the Birmingham
Federation of Disabled Persons Associations was kind enough to say at the opening of
Carrefour/Birmingham.

Toilet, telephone, parking, no steps, an extra-wide checkout, are some of the fourteen
features. There's a special lift for you, too, up to the restaurant. Guide dogs will be
permitted around the shop - or, often better, they can be left for a snooze at the
Information Desk. Look for the signs - or always feel free to ask.
