Great artists on show at Greendown
Work by over 500 West Swindon pri-
mary school children will be displayed
in an art exhibition at Greendown School
in Grange Park on 30 April and 1 May
from 5pm to 7pm.
In an innovative project to smooth the
transition between primary and sec-
ondary school, the children who are
moving up to Greendown. created large
panels in the style of great artists with
the help of independent artists No Added
Sugar.
Greendown primary liaison teacher
Angie Procter said. "the project is one of
several initiatives to integrate the work
of Greendown with its partner primary
schools to make a seemless move be-
tween school phases. The exhibition
gives parents and friends a chance to
visit the school informally."
Each school group painted two pic-
tures, one to hang in their primary school,
the other to be displayed at Greendown. Children from Freshbrook School in front of work by several West Swindon schools
