Swindon's town centre now has its very own ‘Repair Shop’ thanks to the opening of a new business.
Located at 2 Theatre Square, opposite The Computer Museum, Proto, undertakes repairs of high value electronic goods including computers, high-definition televisions and gaming systems.
They also specialise in industrial and commercial electronic repairs for commercial clients, and offers easy drop-offs opposite the premises and parking nearby.
Owner Matt Horsell said: “There’s a real need for a service like ours in Swindon. In the current climate, many people and organisations are just not prepared to discard expensive devices when they fail.
“The team has been repairing electronic equipment for well over 20 years. We set a nominal fee of £23 for first inspections and can provide an initial diagnostic report for insurance purposes.
"This charge is recuperable against the final cost of a repair if we do go on to do it.”
