Wroughton and Wichelstowe Parish Council has partnered with the leading local estate agent, Richard James to brighten up the village this summer.
Richard James Estate Agents has sponsored 13 new planters for Wroughton High Street, bursting with blooms that are bringing a splash of seasonal colour to the village centre.
The estate agent has had a longstanding presence in the community, with their first office opening on Wroughton High Street in 1992. The agency now has offices covering the whole of Swindon and the surrounding villages, but this sponsorship reflects their continued commitment to the people of Wroughton and the community they have served for nearly 35 years.
Cllr John Hewer, Chair of Wroughton and Wichelstowe Parish Council, said: “A massive thank you to staff at Richard James’s Wroughton office for helping to spruce up the village.
“With 13 new planters filled with colourful begonias, the High Street is looking bright and beautiful this summer.
“It’s always great to see local businesses get involved in the parish, and I’m delighted to partner with Richard James for this initiative.”
