Charity Event to Raise Money for Breast Cancer

One of the UKs biggest fundraising events, Wear it Pink is back again this October for the sixteenth year running.

The event has been organised by the charity Breast Cancer Now. Supporters are encouraged on 20 October to dress up in pink in order to raise money for life saving breast cancer research. Fundraising events are also held across Schools, workplaces, and homes. As a result of previous years, over £30 million has been raised in aid for vital research, and to prevent women from dying from the disease.
