Festive style will go hand-in-hand with the work of a vital charity at a fundraising fashion show in Swindon tomorrow - Wednesday 4 December.
The fashion show, organised by Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service’s (SWA/SDASS), will be held at The Underground at Orbital Retail Park.
It will showcase the broad range of donated fashion and accessories available at the charity’s shop, SWA Survivor.
Christmas fashions and party wear will be available to see and purchase at the event, with all money raised on the evening and through ticket sales going directly to the charity to fund their support programmes for children and young people who are impacted by domestic abuse.
Emma Maclennan, CYP Manager, said: “The fundraising fashion show is set to be an excellent evening of fun and style.
"Every penny raised will go directly to fund what we are doing to empower and educate with the vision to create a society without abuse.
“Every item of clothing that will be showcased on the catwalk or available to buy has been donated by generous members of the public to our shop. We’ve also received donations and help from other businesses, including Haydon Wick School, Tesco and Asda, to make the event a night to remember.
“We will also be holding a raffle with wonderful prizes that would be perfect Christmas gifts. So, you can get your presents and style all wrapped up for Christmas early, and support the work that SWA/SDASS does across the town at the same time.”
The SWA Fashion Show will take place from 6pm-8pm, with tickets priced at £5 - which includes a glass of mulled wine or a soft drink and a mince pie.
Tickets are available from the SWA Survivor shop in The Parade in the town centre.
