The Roxi Foundation, a Swindon based Charity, has recently been awarded a £1000 community grant from Hillier Funeral Services.
The Roxi Foundation helps families by paying for private ADHD and Autism assessments for young people living in Swindon. They also offer advocacy and guidance to help families get the support they need from education and healthcare services.
The grant will go towards the development of a new online support tool for families of young neurodivergent individuals in Swindon and Wiltshire.
Once launched, the tool will help families better advocate for their young people within schools and NHS services – something many parents and carers struggle with daily.
Their current funding application window (for families needing help with the cost of private assessments) is open until 30 June 2025.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “We’re also actively looking for more businesses and individuals who would be willing to support us in bringing our online support tool to life as we need to raise £7.5k to complete this innovative project. Every donation helps us reach more families.”
