This year's Rotary Club of Swindon North & Thamesdown charity Swimathon is on Sunday 11 May 10am at Highworth Recreation Centre.
Entrants can raise funds for any charity of their choice, and a club spokesperson said: "It's a readymade event for swimmers (of all ages and all abilities) to use as a fundraiser for a charity or organisation they select.
"Now is the time for them to start organising a team and getting each team member to ask their family and friends to sponsor them.
"It's easy to enter online and collect sponsorship online too. Everything is on the Swimathon page on our website: www.rotaryswindonnorth.org.uk.
"Entry forms, sponsorship forms, tips on maximising sponsorship, it’s all there. Entries can be submitted by post or online and there is no entry fee. Sponsorship can be organised online too."
The club's charity partner for Swimathon 2025 is the Thamesdown Hydrotherapy Pool.
The spokesperson added: "As well as raising funds for the entrants' favourite charities our Swimathon 2025 is also raising funds for the Thamesdown Hydrotherapy Pool which has been providing hydrotherapy and all the benefits it brings for the people of Wiltshire since 1979."
Information about the hydrotherapy pool can be found at https://www.thamesdownhydrotherapypool.com/index.html
Last year's event raised £5,952 for local charities, and the club is aiming to beat that figure this year.
