Wichelstowe school records excellent GCSE results

Staff and students from The Deanery Church of England Academy are celebrating another excellent set of GCSE results.


The results show sustained improvement, with 48% of the cohort achieving Grade 5 or above in English and Maths. In addition, the number of students achieving Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths is at 72%. 
The school has been on a journey of rapid improvement and teachers say these outcomes stand to be above national average for the second year running.
