Nyland School has become the first in Swindon to receive the prestigious Bronze ARC Award.
A specialist primary school supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs, Nyland provides a safe and nurturing environment where pupils can thrive.
The award celebrates Nyland’s outstanding approaches to attachment, trauma, mental health and wellbeing practice.
Gemma Meiklejohn, Virtual School Headteacher at Swindon Borough Council, visited Nyland to proudly present the award to Georgina Birkett, Nylands’ headteacher.
The Virtual School champions the education of children in care, and those previously in care, by working with schools to make sure they get the support they need to succeed.
