Highworth Warneford is celebrating some excellent GCSE results with very good progress made by the pupils in a wide range of subjects.
Of the GCSE cohort, 70% of students achieved at least a Grade 4 in both English and Maths.
Principal Sophie Hesten said: “We are very pleased with this year’s results. These excellent outcomes reflect the hard work of our pupils and staff, as well as the valuable support we receive from parents and governors.
"We are delighted by the success of all our pupils and wish them every success in the future.”
Although all pupils performed very well, there were some notable individual successes, including:
Gavin Chen with 5 at Grade 9, 2 at Grade 8 and 2 at Grade 7
Jamie Agnew with 4 at Grade 9, 4 at Grade 8 and 1 at Grade 7
Grace Thurgood with 4 at Grade 8, 1 at Grade 6 and 3 at Grade 6
