Self build expert, Mike Hardwick, is offering a series of 1 hour ‘taster’ sessions which will give you tonnes of valuable information and advice.
Over 3 sessions Mike tackles some of the big questions around budgeting, finding a plot, understanding planning and Building Regulations as well as guiding you on engaging trades people and buying materials.
10am, 12pm & 3:15pm each day.

Real Life Case Study – Ben Adam-Smith
At the end of 2016, self-builder Ben Adam-Smith bought a garden plot which had full planning permission for a new dwelling.
So far in 2017 he has hired an architect, developed and refined the designs, and submitted an amendment to the existing planning application.
In this presentation he’ll explain why he’s building a certified Passivhaus, how designing to this standard is slightly different and what he has learned through the process.
