Swindon's Bridal Boutique has revealed a very unique window display, designed to commemorate servicemen and women.

To mark remembrance Sunday, sales consultant Charlotte Boswell handmade 300 poppies created from crate and tissue paper to craft the boutique's latest wedding dress.

The Boutique previously commemorated Remembrance Day last year with an RAF uniform, however Charlotte explained that they wanted to do something different and more eye-catching this year.

Not only is the final result stunning, it is also personal to Charlotte. Her father is an ex-RAF pilot, whilst her two brothers are currently serving in the army.

Taking 14 hours to make and a further 4 hours to display in the Boutique's window, Charlotte explained: "This is something very close to my heart.

"I just wanted to create something humble as a mark of respect for the armed forces.

"Glitter has also been added to the dress for a bit of glam, as after all this is a wedding dress shop."

The dress will remain on display in Bridal Boutique's window until November 12, after Remembrance Sunday.

Jane Watts, owner and proprietor of the Bridal Boutique, said: "We'll take it down after the Sunday as we will need to start getting our Christmas displays ready."

Further to Charlotte's poppy wedding dress, Bridal Boutique have also donated money to the Royal British Legion.

Looking as Charlotte's display, Jane added: "I am so proud of her, she's done an amazing job. The dress is absolutely beautiful, it could be in Harrods'".
