Swindon's Christmas lights were switched on by Wyvern Theatre panto star Ryan Thomas amidst a vibrant event in Wharf Green on Saturday night (19 Nov)
The former Coronation Street actor took to the stage with X Factor winner Ben Haenow and young West Swindon diabetes campaigner Phoebe Maddison to press the big red button and illuminate Swindon for the festive period.
The weekend of events included a lantern parade and a Christmas market on Sunday, with colourful characters roaming the high street as part of inSwindon BID's Enchanted Christmas programme.
