Tomorrow - Saturday 20 April - sees the start of this year's Swindon Blossom Festival.
All are welcome to join in celebrations of the arrival of Spring in the town at South Swindon Parish Council locations GWR Park, the Town Gardens Café, Badbury Park Library, Shaftesbury Lake and Buckhurst and East Wichel Tiny Forests.
The festival runs from 20 to 28 April, and planned events include:
- Saturday 20 April - Nature Discovery Day at Shaftesbury Lake, 10am-2pm
- Monday 22 April - Earth Day celebrations at East Wichel Tiny Forest
- Tuesday 23 April - Earth Day circus activities at Buckhurst Tiny Forest and Old Town Library Story Picnic at Town Gardens 11am-noon
- Various dates - A broad range of events at the Town Gardens Cafe, including Yoga, craft and art workshops
- Wednesday 24 April - Build a Bug Hotel at Town Gardens, 2pm
- Sunday 28 April - Blossom Festival at GWR Park and Swindon Growers Summit at Swindon Hub, 10.30am-4.30pm
