Wiltshire Police laid on a special display for the crowds at the Wroughton Carnival.
Three veteran vehicles from the force fleet were sent to add a touch of nostalgia and historical interest.
The cars were a 1968 Austin Cambridge, a 1989 Ford Escort and a 1994 Vauxhall Senator.
A force spokesperson said: "We have serving officers who are considerably younger than these vehicles!"
