South Swindon Parish Council have announced that work to refurbish the play area at Westcott Recreation Ground is to begin the week commencing 8 September.
The play area improvements will incorporate a new fire station themed multi-play unit, a new climbing unit, two new springers, sensory play panels, a seesaw and more.
There will be partial closures while the improvements are carried out.
The work will take approximately 3-4 weeks, dependent on weather conditions.
Alternative play areas near to this site are at Cambria Bridge and GWR Park.
