Old Town pub The Pulpit is listed in the latest edition of The Good Beer Guide.
The guide is real ale organisation CAMRA's prestigious listing of the best pubs and beers nationwide, and being named in it is a coveted honour.
Formerly The Little Hop, The Pulpit in Devizes Road is credited with being the town's first micropub, and is home not just to a selection of cask ales, craft beers and lagers on keg, together with ciders, wines, spirits, and soft drinks, but also a roster of events ranging from music to cheese tasting sessions.
Delighted manager Linda Gulliford said of The Pulpit's listing in the latest edition of the highly respected guide: “We did it! We are absolutely buzzing to have made it into The Good Beer Guide.
"As an independent pub business it’s a real accolade for us and a major accomplishment to be recognised for the quality of what we do.”
